These 1 hour sessions can be held weekly or bi-weekly depending on the client or family’s needs. After an initial assessment, goals will be chosen in collaboration with the client and family and a support plan will be created and discussed step-by-step with all stakeholders. Modeling, mutual feedback, and data collection will all be components of these training sessions.

We partner with the local human services authority to provide focused ABA services for adults, teens, and families including those without Medicaid or insurance, as well as individuals with diagnoses such as ADHD, ODD, and other related conditions. Our goal is to make high-quality, personalized behavioral support accessible to those who may not have traditional insurance coverage, empowering individuals to build essential skills and improve quality of life.

Prism has providers who are part of Louisiana’s Early Steps program, the state’s early intervention service for 0-3 year olds. Our offerings include direct skill-building sessions, as well as consultation and support for parents and daycare staff. By collaborating with other therapy professionals, we ensure a holistic, team-based approach to supporting each family’s unique needs.

During these sessions, the BCBA will work directly with the client on skills that have been chosen from the initial assessment. Parent and caregiver involvement will still be a core component of these sessions, and the ultimate goal will be to fade these sessions once appropriate. Each session may be 1-2 hours up to 2-3 times a week, depending on the BCBA’s availability.

We work closely with each child, respecting their unique needs and strengths, and use affirming, strengths-based strategies to create a supportive environment where they can grow and thrive at their own pace.
